Whole Masoor Dal

Masoor dal is known in English as red lentils, split red lentils, or sometimes pink lentils, referring to the common skinless, split form, while whole, unhusked masoor dal is called brown lentils or whole brown lentils. It's a popular lentil used in Indian and South Asian cuisine, often cooked into a flavorful stew or curry, also called "dal".
